As President and CEO of Taylor&Hill, Ray is at the helm of a multifaceted organization. He is a seasoned professional with leadership extending beyond managing an oil and gas engineering/design group and professional staffing company. Under his guidance Taylor&Hill has thrived, maintaining high standards of excellence in the industry.
Ray’s professional journey showcases his versatility in having co-managed various PLANT sites for a petrochemical client and currently managing various clients in the Gulf Coast Area. His experience encompasses managing and operating of startups and joint ventures, including Field Inspection Services, Leak Sealing Services, Information Systems, Real Estate and Leasing Services. This diverse portfolio underscores his entrepreneurial spirit and ability to navigate complex business landscapes.
A proud U.S. Army veteran, Ray’s community involvement includes board of directors with YMCA, local Chamber of Commerce, POA Architectural Committee, and Church Leadership positions. His educational journey includes earning an MBA from Our Lady of the Lake University, a BA in Political Science from University of Houston, and a AAP from Coastal Bend College. His commitment to continuous learning is further exemplified by management training at prestigious institutions such as Stanford University, Rice University, and Owen Vanderbilt Graduate School.
Julie joined Taylor & Hill as Chief Operating Officer in May of 2022. For more than 15 years, Julie has worked in leadership positions within the Engineering & Construction industry across many disciplines including sales operations, business development, engineering management, estimating, financial planning and information management.
Julie holds a BS in Industrial Engineering from Louisiana Tech and received her MBA from the University of Alabama, Manderson School of Business.
When not working, Julie enjoys spending time with her family, as well as gardening, running and playing tennis.
As Engineering Manager, John W. Leavesley oversees the engineering department. As a disciplined Electrical Engineer, with two decades of experience, John brings a wealth of both on & offshore experience that helps Taylor & Hill’s multi-disciplined engineering team excel. John ensures that projects awarded to Taylor & Hill are completed with the highest quality and under budget. When John isn’t managing the engineering department, he enjoys restoring antique cars and spending time with his wife and three children.
James is Taylor & Hill’s Senior Recruiter. He has more than 15 years of experience in business development, full-cycle recruiting and construction project management. James holds a BA from Monmouth College, a private liberal arts college in Illinois, where he double majored in Public Relations and Communications.
In his free time, James enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, running and playing basketball.
Faydra joined Taylor & Hill as Administrative Assistant in May of 2022. Faydra has been in an administrative role for over 30 years in the Petrochemical, Chemical and Engineering industries for multiple disciplines including Engineering, Employee Relations, HR, Accounting, Payroll, Marketing, QA/QC, and Safety.
When not working, Faydra enjoys spending time and vacationing with her three grandchildren and family.
