REFERRAL PROGRAM
Scope
This policy applies to all current Taylor & Hill employees and all
NON Taylor and Hill employees, including perspective employees.
Purpose
This policy is to encourage any current or non employees to identify
friends or acquaintances who are interested in employment opportunities and
refer qualified outside applicants for any open positions.
Policy
Only certain hard-to-fill positions are eligible for the employee
referral program and are designated by the Taylor & Hill logo on the
Company’s Employment Opportunities web page.
Our website can be located by visiting www.taylorandhill.com/employment.asp.
All referrals for employment must be submitted using the Taylor &
Hill Candidate Referral Form along with a resume or employment
application. The completed form must be
turned into the Recruiting Department in order to determine eligibility for the
employee referral bonus.
Submission of a resume by an Employee or Non-Employee shall neither
guarantee an interview nor an offer of employment for the Referred
Candidate. Prior to making a referral,
the referring individual should obtain the permission of the applicant, share
his/her knowledge of the organization and not make any commitments or oral
promises of employment. All information
regarding the hiring decision will remain strictly confidential. All candidates will be evaluated for
employment consistent with Taylor & Hill policies and procedures.
The first person that submits the applicant will be the only individual
who will be considered for the referral bonus.
The referral date cannot be earlier than the date the job order is
activated. The hiring of the referred
candidate must occur within 30 days of the initial referral date. The referral must represent the candidate’s
first contact or rehire with Taylor & Hill.
Temporary, part-time (29 hours/week or less), summer and short-term contract
hires are not eligible for referral awards.
All Taylor & Hill and non Taylor & Hill employees are eligible
for the referral bonus, EXCEPT,
company management, administration, officers, Human Resources personnel and
managers with hiring authority over the referred candidates.
If the candidate referred is hired and is a qualified referral
according to the Recruiting Department, the referral bonus is $500. Half of the $500 bonus is awarded after the
employee has been on the payroll for 60 calendar days and the remainder of the
bonus will be awarded when the employee has completed 120 calendar days of
continuous employment following his/her hire date. The referred employee must be on the payroll at the time the
bonus is awarded.
Any disputes or interpretations of the program will be handled through
the Human Resources Department at Taylor & Hill.
